Meet Karla

Karla, Dennis, and their 7 children used to live in a small shack made from scrap metal and rotted wood. Their family of 9 slept in two beds, crammed into one tiny room. Karla lived in fear for her kids and new 6-month old baby, as snakes and animals always found their way into her home. When it rained, she had to move their beds and sacks of clothes to try to keep dry.

Now, everything has changed. Karla says she sleeps through the night and so do all of her kids - even her 6-month old baby. She says they are thriving.
