Please join us as we unite humanity to quickly rebuild flooded Honduran communities better than ever. Please join us on this Giving Tuesday.

Hurricane Eta and Hurricane Iota hit Honduras November 2020. The combined impacts from Hurricane Iota and Hurricane Eta, two of the strongest hurricanes to ever strike Central America, have resulted in a humanitarian crisis in the coastal regions (AccuWeather). Nearly 300,000 people in the Sula Valley have lost everything they own.

La Coroza and La Cuchilla suffered immensely. Both communities were destroyed and are still underwater. With support from local firefighters, we were able to rescue everyone from both communities. Our team has been caring for them and providing them with everything they need: food, water, clothing, shoes, medical support, hygiene products, mattresses, and so much more.

We do not know when people from our communities will be able to go back into stable homes, but we want to be able to rebuild as quickly as possible.. While we are still assessing the damage and supporting our communities, we know many people want to stay connected and updated. We will continue to communicate updates and ways to help.
